The HTE Media Wall

Flat panel TVs are getting larger and now offer a compelling alternative to two-piece projection in entertainment spaces. Sometimes an HTE Acoustic Interior Design complete room fitout isn’t needed in a more casual family living room environment but a clean installation, and great acoustics still are. For these applications, an HTE Media Wall is a great solution.

The HTE Media Wall

These are built in exactly the same way as out Acoustic Interior Design walls so include our acoustic engineering built in. Each panel is custom made according to the needs of the room’s acoustics. As with all our builds, there are a huge range of design and finish possibilities. The above media wall could easily be installed by two people in a day as it will arrive pre-made in a modular format.

Flawless fit and finish are guaranteed because everything is made in our factory in N. Italy.

There are a wide range of options including -

  • Custom backboxes for in-wall speakers

  • The ability to integrate and hide left, centre and right speakers, plus two subwoofers.

  • Niches with shelves and built in lighting

  • Linear digitally addressable LED lighting built in

  • A motorised flap above the TV to integrate a PTZ camera for conferencing applications. This will then be hidden when not in use for a clean look.

  • Hidden equipment shelving

  • Stand alone walls with TVs and speakers on both sides for use as a room divider.

Used with floorstanding speakers, the construction of the wall will enhance acoustical performance

Even if a pair of floorstanding loudspeakers are preferred for a more music listening orientated space, the acoustic performance is enhanced due to the bass absorption capabilities of an HTE Media Wall mitigating SBIR (Speaker Boundary Interference Response) issues due to cancellation effects due to reflected sound off the wall at low frequencies.
